3-Ring Binders
I keep a notebook beside my computer as I write. In the notebook, I jot down ideas that pop into my head. Later, I transfer these ideas into the 3-ring binders.

Inside the 3-Ring
I have a general changes section at the front of the 3-ring binder, and then have sections for each chapter to put notes for specific chapters. In this photo there is a chart I created to help me plot Skunk and Badger.

I erase everything!
Once I’ve added an idea into my manuscript, I erase it. If I don’t erase it, I re-read it. I’ll re-read it, even if it’s crossed out. This takes too much time, so I decided to write in pencil and erase. This works!

Saved Journal Entry
This is to remind me to add some backstory. (The white-outs are ideas for future books. Ha!)

Inspiration is always welcome!
This is a badger card I picked up in Keswick, England. It was pinned on my bulletin board through the writing of Skunk and Badger. It still makes me smile!
